My wife got a German Shorthaired Pointer puppy and we weren't sure how to get him to obey. Beth took him as a  Board and Train student and he turned out to be the best dog we ever owned.

"We wanted the right start for our 10 week old French Bulldog puppy. After speaking with Beth, we decided to go with a 2 week Board & Train.

I can not believe how much Stuart learned in those 2 weeks. My kids can even leave plates of food on the floor and he won't touch them!

Joyful Dogs provided me a service dog trained for grounding tasks and "social settings management" which is keeping strangers away from the handler. They worked me and my physician to design tasks that help me during panic attacks. I now have independence and can confidently go about life in the real world.

We took the class for the CGC with Joyful Dogs and were really happy with what we and our dog learned. We passed the evaluation and  it made us want to start working toward other AKC titles.

Our one year old Pit Bull Mix rescue dog was potentially going back, BUT with Beth's help, we were equipped with the best tools to make our home a great place for our new puppy, Newman!.

He is now living peaceably with our two cats and our family and we couldn't be happier!!

Joyful Dogs helped us with our puppy, Bella. She is 3/4 Siberian Husky and 1/4 German Shepherd. Bella was a so hyperactive that we needed professional help. Beth was very observant and experienced and she quickly made recommendations and modeled every practice in a way that we could replicate ourselves. She is down-to-earth, well spoken and kind!! My dog, Ella, loves Beth and we do too!!! Beth is worth her price and then some!!!!!

Beth was an absolute joy to work with She had our puppy Mila learning new commands within minutes of first showing up! Every week our puppy was catching on more and more to Beth’s techniques. Now our puppy is listening and completing all the commands that she was taught !! I would highly recommend Beth to anyone who is serious about their dog and it’s training! We had a great experience working with Beth and Marty for Solo's Board and Train and Beckham's session training! So glad we found Joyful Dogs of Michigan! They saved us a lot of frustrations with Solo and Beckham and had such effective and great tips as well as practical information! We saw results very quickly. What is unique about them is that their interest in our dog doesn't end with termination of training! In fact they stays interested and in touch with our dogs. Pete came for an hour and a half session socializing my Yorkie to her new Pitbull roommate. Not only are my dogs doing very good together after only one session!! But we also were given a lot of valuable advice from Pete. He is a very knowledgeable person who truly loves what he does. I learned so much and am so happy I found him at Joyful Dogs of Michigan!
